There is a geographical reason why Desenzano del Garda works as a base camp, and it is the same reason it has always been the arrival point for anyone coming from outside: it is the junction where all the routes around the lake meet.<\/p>\n

This is not a waterfall you look at from a distance. The Magnone stream has carved a gorge into the rock and you walk right inside it, on walkways, with the water crashing down a few metres away and the noise drowning out conversation. The temperature drops sharply and you come out with damp hair: it is the perfect trip for a very hot day.<\/p>\n
